A lifetime as a professional artist

Doug Eyre has spent a lifetime as a professional artist, perfecting many techniques and skills: lettering, design, illustration, painting and trompe l’oeil, all inspired by harmony of line, colour, and the subject. He loves to teach and share.

After 30 years in the world of Formula I Motor Racing, specialising in the Art and Design on Grand Prix and other Formulas, he focused on Marine Painting and Caricature Art.

Master of oils, acrylics, and water colours he works on a variety of commissions full-time from his Cheltenham and Broadway studios in the Cotswolds. Drop in to Doug’s new Galley - The Chapel Gallery, 64 High Street, Broadway, WR12 7DT - Open 10am to 4pm from Tuesday to Saturday, where he is painting and showing the range and breath of his work.

Well known for his ability to capture a likeness in thirty seconds, with a highly skilled intuitive style Doug is an instant success at exhibitions, conferences private and corporate events.

He has exhibited in the UK. His other work has taken him to several continents and supported many articles and editorials in the media.
